Getting the estimate closer
- Blocking images, fonts and media in your browser automation usually cuts a full page from megabytes to a couple of hundred kilobytes. It is the single biggest lever here.
- Hitting a JSON endpoint instead of rendering the page is cheaper again, often by two orders of magnitude.
- A request that returns a block page is a real response and counts toward your GB. That is what the retry slider is for.
