Acceptable Use Policy

What the network may and may not be used for, and how we handle abuse.

Last updated 16 October 2026

1. Permitted use

Public data collection, price and availability monitoring, ad verification, brand protection, SEO and SERP research, QA and load testing against systems you own or are authorized to test, and account management within the terms of the destination service.

2. Prohibited absolutely

Any activity that is illegal where you operate or where the destination is, including fraud, harassment and infringement of intellectual property.

Denial-of-service and amplification attacks, port scanning of third-party infrastructure, malware or ransomware distribution, phishing, spam, credential stuffing, carding and payment fraud, and any material involving the exploitation of minors.

Unauthorized access to systems, circumvention of security controls, and interception of traffic you are not a party to.

3. Respecting destinations

Stay within a reasonable request rate. Do not degrade the performance of a destination service, and do not collect personal data you have no lawful basis to process.

You are responsible for complying with the terms of service of the sites you access and with all applicable law in your jurisdiction and theirs.

4. Abuse handling and enforcement

Report abuse to abuse@foidproxy.com or with the Abuse department on the contact page. Include timestamps with time zone, the IP address involved and a sample of the traffic or logs.

We review every report, may suspend the account involved while we investigate, and close accounts where a breach is confirmed, without refund. Where the law requires it, or to protect people from serious harm, we cooperate with the relevant authorities.
